The KK1431 3D felt diffuser breaks up those reflections by scattering sound waves across a textured 3D surface instead of bouncing them straight back at you.

    The result: a tighter, clearer room without deadening it. You still hear yourself. You just stop hearing the room.

    Will this soundproof my room from my neighbors?
    No. This is in-room acoustic treatment (echo control), not isolation. For isolation between rooms, see KK1244 Door Kit PRO.
    How many panels do I need for a 12 × 12 ft (3.6 × 3.6 m) room?
    12 panels is a strong starting point. Add 6 more if the room is empty (no rugs, no sofa, no curtains).
    Will the adhesive damage my paint?
    With our KK1207 removable tape — no. With permanent mounting — possibly. Test on a hidden corner first.
    Black + white together, or one color?
    Both work. A checkerboard layout reads "designed." Single-color reads "minimal." Your call.
    Are the panels fire-rated?
    PET felt is typically Class B1 / Class A. Check your local building code for commercial install requirements.
    Does it smell?
    No. 100% PET, no glue binder, no off-gassing.
    Can I cut them to fit?
    Yes — a sharp utility knife works, or use our KK1155 panel cutter for a cleaner edge.
    Foam vs felt — what's the difference?
    Foam absorbs more (deadens). Felt scatters (clarifies). Most rooms want some of both — pair KK1431 with a foam panel kit.
